“I can’t begin to thank you and thank God enough for this recent spiritual renewal leave. I have been blessed to have lots of daily time with the Lord and to rest and be renewed. I’d like to especially thank

the Staff-Pastor/Parish Relations Committee and Church Council for giving their blessing to this renewal time,

the church staff for going the extra mile to take care of so many things in my absence, affording me this opportunity,

the pastors who have substituted for me for emergencies and funerals,

and the preachers and speakers who have brought you great messages and worship experiences.
I can’t begin to thank everyone enough.
I want to celebrate with you how God has worked through you to be the church in remarkable ways over these last couple of months:

You cared for the families of two members who died,

You shared God’s love with those among you who are sick,

You reached out to join the community in remembering those who died in the plane crash.

You engaged in ministry to homeless veterans
In every way you have been the church, thriving in doing the work of Jesus.
This time of spiritual renewal has been very life-giving for me and I am excited about what God has in store for us as we continue to make disciples of Jesus Christ by the sea and throughout God’s creation. Again, thank you and thanks be to God.”
