Music has always been at the heart of Christian worship. Throughout Scripture, God's people are called to sing, play instruments, and offer joyful praise to the Lord. Our Music Ministry exists to glorify God, encourage believers, and inspire all who enter our church through meaningful worship. Whether through voices lifted in song, the beauty of handbells, the richness of a pipe organ, or the talents of guest musicians, our desire is to lead hearts into the presence of God and proclaim the Gospel through music.
We believe that music is far more than a performance—it is an act of worship, a ministry of encouragement, and a powerful way to share God's love with our congregation and community. We welcome individuals of all musical abilities who have a desire to serve Christ through their gifts.
Our Choir serves as a vital part of weekly worship and special seasonal services. Members enjoy singing a variety of sacred music, including traditional hymns, anthems, and contemporary worship selections that enrich our worship experience.
Whether you have years of choral experience or simply enjoy singing praises to God, we invite you to become part of this encouraging and faith-filled ministry.
Weekly rehearsal on Thursdays, weekly participation in worship service
Everyone who loves to sing is welcome!
The Handbell Choir adds a unique and beautiful expression of worship through the art of ringing handbells. Their music enhances worship services throughout the year and during special celebrations.
Members develop musical skills while enjoying fellowship and serving the Lord together. Previous handbell experience is helpful but not required. Training is available for those interested in learning.
Weekly rehearsal on Thursdays, playing in worship 3-4 times a year.
Music has the power to comfort, encourage, and bring hope. Our Music Outreach ministry seeks opportunities to share God's love beyond the walls of the church through special performances at community events, retirement communities, nursing homes, outreach programs, and seasonal concerts.
By sharing the gift of music, we strive to touch lives, build relationships, and point others to Christ.
During the Season of Lent, our music reflects a spirit of prayer, reflection, repentance, and preparation for Easter. Special anthems, contemplative hymns, and worship services help lead the congregation through this meaningful journey toward the cross and the celebration of Christ's resurrection.
The choir and musicians play an important role in creating a worshipful atmosphere that draws hearts closer to God during this sacred season.
Celebrate our resurrected Lord and Savior though Meditative preludes, contemplative hymns, celebratory anthems that encapsulate the Lent and Easter Season.
Advent is a season of joyful anticipation as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ's birth. Our Music Ministry presents inspiring Advent and Christmas music that tells the story of God's promise fulfilled through Jesus Christ.
Special worship services, Christmas cantatas, instrumental performances, and congregational singing make this one of the most meaningful times of the church year.
Music ministry is more than rehearsals and performances—it is a family united in faith and friendship. Throughout the year, choir members gather for fellowship events, meals, celebrations, and service opportunities that strengthen relationships and encourage one another in Christ.
These times together build lasting friendships while reminding us that serving God is both meaningful and joyful.
Throughout the year, we are blessed by talented guest vocalists, instrumentalists, ensembles, and musicians who share their gifts during worship services and special events.
Their participation enriches our worship experience, introduces new expressions of sacred music, and reminds us of the many ways God equips His people to glorify Him through music.
If you are a visiting musician or would like to share your musical gifts, we would love to hear from you.

The pipe organ has long been recognized as one of the most inspiring instruments in Christian worship. Our Pipe Organ Project represents an investment in the future of worship for generations to come.
This project seeks to preserve the rich heritage of sacred music while providing an instrument capable of supporting congregational singing, accompanying choirs, and presenting inspiring organ literature for worship and special concerts.
We invite members and friends of the church to pray for this project and consider partnering with us as we work to provide this lasting gift for future generations.
At present, Ann Street UMC is refurbishing and revoicing it’s 1963 Schantz organ. Upon completion, with the addition of new ranks, we will have grown from 600 to over 1000 pipes. Estimated completion in late 2026.
There is a place for everyone in our Music Ministry. Whether you sing, ring handbells, play an instrument, or simply have a heart for worship, we invite you to become part of this vibrant ministry.
Together, we seek to glorify God, encourage one another, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ through the universal language of music.
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise." — Psalm 98:4
