A Community That Stands with You
You are not alone

Life is full of moments that feel too heavy to carry on our own — illness, loss, uncertainty, fear, grief, and seasons where hope feels far away. And there are also moments of overwhelming joy, answered prayers, and milestones worth celebrating together.

Whatever you are walking through right now, the people of Ann Street United Methodist Church want to stand with you in prayer.

We believe deeply in the power of prayer — not as a ritual or formality, but as a genuine conversation with a God who listens, who cares, and who moves on behalf of those He loves. Every request shared with us is treated with the utmost care, compassion, and confidentiality.

You do not need to be a member of this church to reach out. Simply bring what is on your heart, and allow us the privilege of bringing it before God on your behalf.

A Ministry of Hope and Compassion

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do at Ann Street United Methodist Church. It is through prayer that we draw closer to God, seek His guidance, find comfort in difficult times, and celebrate His many blessings. Our Prayer Ministry is dedicated to lifting up the needs of our church, our community, and our world, trusting that God hears every prayer and remains faithful to His promises.

Whether you are experiencing joy, facing uncertainty, grieving a loss, or seeking direction, you do not have to walk alone. Our prayer team is honored to stand beside you in faith, offering encouragement, compassion, and heartfelt prayer.

Sharing Your Prayer Requests

Life brings moments when we need others to pray with us. Our Prayer Ministry welcomes prayer requests for individuals, families, friends, and neighbors who may be facing illness, loss, family challenges, financial concerns, difficult decisions, or other personal needs.

Every request is received with care, treated respectfully, and lifted before God by faithful members of our prayer team. We believe no concern is too small for God's attention and no burden is too great for His grace and mercy.

Growing Through Prayer

Prayer is more than asking God for help—it is an ongoing conversation that strengthens our relationship with Him. Through personal prayer, corporate prayer, and opportunities for spiritual growth, we encourage every believer to develop a deeper and more consistent prayer life.

As we pray together, we learn to trust God's wisdom, experience His peace, and discover the strength that comes from placing every aspect of our lives into His loving hands.

Join Us in Prayer

The Prayer Ministry is open to everyone who has a heart for interceding on behalf of others. Whether you feel called to pray regularly for our church family, participate in prayer gatherings, or simply offer quiet prayers from home, your ministry is both meaningful and impactful.

If you have a prayer request or would like to become part of our Prayer Ministry, we invite you to connect with us. Together, we believe in the power of prayer to bring hope, healing, comfort, and renewed faith as we seek God's will and experience His presence in our lives.
