Faith was never meant to be lived in isolation. From the very beginning, God designed people to grow through relationship — with Him and with one another. The ministries of Ann Street United Methodist Church exist to create those connections.
Whether someone is a child taking their very first steps of faith, a young person navigating identity and purpose, an adult seeking deeper understanding, or someone longing for prayer and support through a difficult time — there is a place to belong here.
Each ministry is grounded in compassion, rooted in Scripture, and shaped around the genuine needs of real people.
Children are not the future of the church — they are the church, right now. Our Children's Ministry creates a nurturing, age-appropriate environment where the youngest among us can discover God's love, experience friendship, and begin building a faith that will carry them through life. With engaging lessons, creative activities, and caring leaders, children are encouraged to ask questions, explore Scripture, and grow in the knowledge that they are deeply loved by God.
The teenage years bring some of life's biggest questions — about identity, purpose, belonging, and what to believe. Our Youth Ministry provides a safe and encouraging space for young people to wrestle with those questions, build authentic friendships, and discover what it means to follow God in real, everyday life. Through gatherings, discussions, service opportunities, and meaningful relationships with caring adult mentors, youth are equipped to navigate life with faith, courage, and confidence.
No matter how long someone has followed Christ, there is always more to learn, more to experience, and more to explore. Our Adult Ministry offers Bible studies, small groups, and learning opportunities designed to help adults grow in their understanding of Scripture and their relationship with God. These gatherings also foster genuine friendship and mutual support — because life is better when it is shared with others who understand the journey.
There are seasons of life that feel too heavy to carry alone. The Prayer Ministry of Ann Street exists to walk alongside individuals and families through those moments — offering prayer, encouragement, and compassionate presence. No request is too small, and no burden is too heavy for God. Whether someone is facing illness, grief, uncertainty, or simply needs someone to stand with them in faith, the Prayer Ministry is here.
Faith that stays within four walls is not fulfilling its full calling. The Outreach Ministry of Ann Street United Methodist Church carries the love of Christ into our community and beyond — through service projects, partnerships with local organizations, and practical acts of kindness. Every time we serve, we extend an invitation to others to experience the grace of God.
There is a place for everyone in our Music Ministry. Whether you sing, ring handbells, play an instrument, or simply have a heart for worship, we invite you to become part of this vibrant ministry.
Together, we seek to glorify God, encourage one another, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ through the universal language of music.
